Amblyopia (weak-sightedness) in children
Diagnostics and therapy of child amblyopia by correction, patching, drop therapy as well as treatment of strabismus (misaligned eyes) and eye movement disorders of children and adults. These include preventive examinations for children under the age of six to prevent amblyopia. Since the development of vision develops in children mostly until six years of age, even small defects in vision during this phase can lead to irreversible amblyopia that cannot be treated in adult age any more. Early diagnosis and treatment are therefore essential.
